Twelve miles north of Tamarindo is Bahia Brasilito; this little town/bay is made up of Flamingo, Brasilito and Playa Conchal. There are a large number of hotels, condos and beach house rentals. Getting Flamingo is so easy since there is a paved road from San Jose to Flamingo, or a short flight from San Jose to neighboring Tamarindo, on a local flight company (Sansa). The Liberia International Airport (LIR) is 50 minutes by car. Many airlines have direct international flights to this airport; therefore, you will be just minutes from the beautiful Flamingo Beach.
