Fishing from Playa Conchal

Playa Conchal is located in the Brasilito bay; it is a small town about 8 miles north of Tamarindo, on the northwest Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Paradisus Playa Conchal is the main accommodation in the town which is an expansive hotel/resort/golf course complex, located right on the beach.

Playa Conchal is a short taxi ride from the airstrip in Tamarindo, which is serviced with daily flights by Sansa and Nature Air.

Sport fishing in Playa Conchal offers a great combination of inshore and offshore possibilities, with the continental shelf just 18 miles from shore, Playa Conchal deep sea fishing is 40 minutes boat running to get fishing spots for sail, marlin, tuna and dorados or mahi and seasonal wahoo. In other hand, inshore fishing from Playa Conchal is just 5 miles; roosterfish, cubera snapper, jacks and other species are found inshore around the Catalina Islands. Conchal fishing charters fish in the same offshore and inshore spots areas as trips leaving from Flamingo and Papagayo.

Boats get here early morning to pick up clients right infront of the Paradisus Playa Conchal. Using a dingy to pick up from the beach, the charter will depart, as used in all our charters, at 7:30am.
