Playa Hermosa which means "Beautiful Beach" is in the Culebra Bay, near Playas del Coco in the Northern province of Guanacaste Costa Rica. There is another beach name Playa Hermosa in the middle Pacific in Costa Rica, near Jaco and Marina Los Suenos in Herradura; therefore, be careful and not to confuse these two beautiful beaches.

Well, speaking of the Playa Hermosa in Guanacaste province, it is a small town just 25 minutes from the International airport in Liberia, Guanacaste and 4 hours by car from the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose.
