Samara Fishing Charters

Playa Samara is along the southern Pacific coast of the Nicoya Peninsula in the province of Guanacaste. This small sunny town with pristine beaches and picture-perfect scenery. The town is both a popular beach resort community as well as a major component to the cattle and fishing industry in Costa Rica. Samara is considered to be one of the safest beaches, making it an ideal location for family getaways and low-key travel.

Samara is just 30 kilometers from Nicoya city which is around 4 hours from San Jose, the capital city.

The closer airport is in Nosara; however, this is a local airport since the main airport in the area is the Liberia International Airport which is 1.5 hours by car.

Samara Fishing is well know for the calm seas round the year. Its combines great inshore fishing in a short boat ride where you will target for big cubera snapper, roosterfish, hamberjacks and many other species. Deep sea fishing near Samara and Carrillo is just 45 minutes boat running, with great options for sail, marlin (blue, black and striped), dorado/mahi and yellowfin tuna.
